While topical anesthetics have been around for decades and distraction has been proven to decrease chidren's distress by about 50%, these methods haven't been accessible to people who want to control pain themselves. The best thing is that all the resources are downloadable for FREE, and are peer reviewed: Both the science and the content are discussed by an unbiased source before they present the materials.
