2011 MDEA Winner!
Buzzy awards keep coming. We are thrilled that Buzzy and Bee-Stractors are receiving the MDEA 2011 Winner for Consumer Medical Device Products! Buzzy will accept a trophy for medical design excellence in June. One of the most difficult concepts to convey is that individuals can take control of their own health, using Buzzy at home or bringing Buzzy when pain relief isn't provided. Buzzy could have won for hospital use for increasing IV success, or for surgical success improving lidocaine injection, or for dermatology botox pain control. Instead, we won for being a great design available directly to consumers - personal pain control in your hands! Demystifying medicine and improving health are what we're all about.
